Terms of Service
The basis on which we provide online reputation management and related services.
1. Agreement to terms
By accessing this website or engaging Repulance for services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or engage our services.
2. Services
Repulance provides online reputation management (ORM), search engine optimisation (SEO), generative engine optimisation (GEO), digital PR, content removal assistance, and reputation monitoring services. The specific scope of services provided to any client will be set out in a separate engagement agreement.
3. No guarantees on outcomes
Search engine algorithms, AI model training, and platform policies are operated by third parties and change without notice. While we apply industry-leading techniques and pursue every reasonable avenue, we cannot and do not guarantee specific search rankings, the removal of any particular piece of content, or outcomes from legal processes. We will always give you an honest assessment of the likelihood of success for any action before undertaking it.
4. Ethical methods
We operate exclusively within the terms of service of search engines, review platforms, and social networks. We do not use tactics that violate Google's Webmaster Guidelines, engage in review manipulation, create fake content, or employ any technique that could expose clients to penalty. We reserve the right to decline engagements that would require us to do so.
5. Client responsibilities
Clients agree to: provide accurate and complete information relevant to the engagement; not misrepresent the nature or context of the reputation issue being addressed; and not request actions that are deceptive, illegal, or in violation of third-party platform policies.
6. Confidentiality
We treat all client information as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your identity or the nature of our engagement to any third party without your consent, except where required by law. A mutual NDA is available on request.
7. Intellectual property
Content created by Repulance as part of a client engagement (articles, profiles, press releases, etc.) becomes the client's property upon payment for that deliverable. The methodologies, processes, and tools we use remain our intellectual property.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Repulance's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or speculative losses.
9. Website use
The content of this website is provided for informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice. You use the website at your own risk. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information on this website.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or our services after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
